To start off; "Ski Church" is a Christian project geared towards the college age skiers and snowboarders, or people that want to try skiing or snowboarding, in the Chattanooga area. My hope is to one day achieve a trip to Snowshoe, West Virginia, or maybe even go out west if we can get enough of a following; but to start with, the plan is to go to the Cataloochee Ski Area, in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. If you are interested in going on the trip, please register on this site so I can get a good count. I swear I'm not gonna put your name on an advertiser's mailing list or anything, I hate that stuff, but I will send you trip updates through our newsletter.

A lot of Universities already have these same sort of trips, and most of them take you out of the country. From a college, this kind of trip is just a legal way to get kids drunk.. I mean, come on, the drinking age in Canada is '18'! What do you think a bunch of college kids are gonna do up there?? So for those of us that don't want to deal with that kinda drama, I decided to give this a shot. I just want a way for responsible college students to have a little fun without all the excess. Just know that this is a Christian event, so I plan on having a relaxed group Bible study at night while we're winding down a bit, nothing formal... but that is where the name comes from, hence: 'Ski Church'.
